Personal Profile

book.jpgBefore starting his own business in 2000, Jeremy Lockyer worked in local government for twenty-five years, writing and proofreading a variety of material ranging from committee reports to complex contract documents. He also spent six years designing, writing and editing open-learning materials for Thomas Breakwell College.

A practising member of the Baha'i Faith, Jeremy now works on a regular freelance basis for George Ronald, one of the main Baha'i publishers in the United Kingdom, carrying out numerous proofreading assignments.

He is also responsible for copy-editing up to twenty different academic journals on subjects ranging from art and design, film and media studies to social sciences and sustainable development for a publishing company called Intellect.

Jeremy is a member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders and was trained to write advertising copy by Patrick Quinn, who is one of Britain's top copywriters. He can therefore handle all forms of written media and works closely with other creative professionals to provide a one-stop solution to meet the needs of his customers.
